New Year's Eve

So last night we had lemon-buttered shrimps for dinner. It was a combination of chopped lemongrass, fresh lime juice, and of course giant prawns straight from the market! Due to the harassing pressure of the family to get ready for dinner, I did not have time to take lovely photos.

My aunt really knows how to maximize the flavors out of her condiments. The fusion of the salty butter and the citrus kick of the lime hit the right spot. Will post about our family's special Kare-Kare recipe soon. Happy New year everyone!
